While baking last weekend for my brother's birthday, my father's birthday and a Fourth of July party, I decided living without a stand mixer may not be possible much longer. I'm a huge fan of Damsel In This Dress on Etsy. (I've featured them a few times on Fashion Me Fabulous ). I swear I'm going to buy one of these fabulous corsets someday. My Anthropologie catalog came last week. Nothing can make me so discontent with my possessions as that catalog. Now I not only need this stunning purple bedding, I also need a chalkboard wall as a backdrop. Pictured: Rosette Bedding $48 - $268

Korto Momolu remains one of my all-time favorite Project Runway contestants. I was shocked when she didn't win her season ( seat belt coat! ) and further shocked when she didn't win the all-stars reunion competition . I'm very happy to see her gaining post-Project Runway success with projects like her line for Dillards.  I'm also very happy to see she's created a perfect purple purse. If this Vintage Lilac Floral Dress happened to be my size, I might be $35 poorer right now. I love the randomly placed flowers on the soft lilac background. The drawstring waist makes for what looks to be a very comfortable summer frock. It helps that I like the name of the shop too-- Purple Deer Vintage .

Isn't he cute terrifying?! Zumba the Monster is 16 inches wide and made of fleece, felt and polyfil. He looks rather cuddly foreboding and costs $40 from Mariska on Etsy.

My fellow blogger at Fashion Me Fabulous , Jael Paris, spotted these Naturalizer Mary Janes at the super steal price of $29.99 from $79, which forced me to purchase them. (I joined their eClub for an extra $10 off!) They aren't quite purple. They're more of a grey/periwinkle, but pick up any purple hue you pair with them. They're quite comfy too!
